Market Type
In West Virginia, cannabis is regulated by the Office of Medical Cannabis (OMC). Only medical cannabis is allowed.
Metrc and Inventory
West Virginia uses Metrc as their state traceability system. In West Virginia, medical sales must be reported in real time, and Metrc provides each patient’s allotment.
Purchase Limits
Equivalencies: WV regulators have defined equivalencies in this document. One ounce of flower is equivalent to 10,000 mg (10 g) of THC in non-flower products.
