Cannabis Products Accepted for Exchange The only cannabis products accepted for exchanges are vape cartridges and disposable vape cartridges. Cartridges MUST contain 50% or more cannabis oil left in the cartridge and the exchange MUST be within 30 days of original purchase.&nbsp; Exchanges are for defective items only and the exchange must be for the same item, unless that item is not available at the time, in which case a similar substitution can be made. Approval for exchange of cannabis products other than the accepted cannabis products will be at the discretion of management. Customer must have the cannabis product, original packaging, receipt must match identification to exchange a product. Cannabis products must be exchanged in their original, undamaged condition to be eligible for an exchange. Non-Cannabis Products Accepted for Exchange Paraphernalia purchases are non-exchangeable except for extreme circumstances which are to be identified and processed in the Glass Shop.&nbsp; The Glass Shop Manager-On-Duty is the sole arbiter of determining if an exchange is warranted. Customers should inspect their paraphernalia, especially glass, products upon receipt and before exiting the dispensary. If they notice any defects or any other quality issues, they should notify a Glass Shop Specialist or staff member immediately.Any defects or issues with electronic products must be taken up with the manufacturer. Apparel items are eligible for exchanges only and must be unworn/unused. They may be exchanged for a different size or color as long as the price is the same. Exchange of Product If the defect is verified, the customer’s name and date of birth will be written on the back of the receipt along with the approving manager’s signature. The customer will select a product to exchange for the defective product. Once the customer finalizes their cart, they will be sent to the Cage to process their exchange with a Cashier. Defective Cannabis Product Identification ​​​The Exchange process should start on the Retail floor with a Budtender who will assess and confirm the defective cannabis product. If a customer brings a defective cannabis product to another department, redirect them to a Budtender to start the process. Customers should inspect their cannabis products upon receipt. If they notice any defects or any other quality issues, they should notify a Budtender or staff member immediately.&nbsp;​Verification of Defect​A Budtender will assess the provided information to determine if the product is indeed defective. This will require a physical inspection of the defective product.&nbsp; Some specific descriptors that can help identify common issues:&nbsp;Leakage: Oil leaking from the cartridge or disposable unit, which can indicate a seal failure. Clogging (without resolve): Difficulty drawing air through the device, often due to oil viscosity issues or blockages within the cartridge. CBGA is often referred to as the, “Father or Mother of all Cannabinoids”. This is because CBGA is situated at the very top of the cascading reaction that creates THCA, CBDA and CBCA which, through decarboxylation, are turned into the three major cannabinoids THC, CBD and CBC. Currently there is little research being conducted on the medical benefits of CBGA, although it has shown extremely promising results when looking at the interaction between CBGA and colon cancer cells. When CBGA was applied directly to colon cancer cells not only did it destroy the cancer cells, but it also stopped the proliferation of new cancer cells.
